FL – Broward – Pompano Beach

about

In 1981, I began my law enforcement career in the City of Sunrise and eventually became a member of the Broward County Sheriff's Department. Throughout my thirty-year tenure, I had the opportunity to serve in various units such as road patrol, the motorcycle unit, anti-racketeering unit, gang task force unit, S.T.O.P. unit, auto theft unit, and juvenile truancy unit. I also proudly served in the vice unit where I worked in undercover capacities, including investigating massage parlors. Additionally, I was appointed as the Sheriff's Driver/Bodyguard due to my membership in the Dignitary Protection Unit and reputation for discretion. Alongside my law enforcement career, I became involved in the community through volunteer work at First Baptist Church of Fort Lauderdale, where I served in the Christmas pageant and later as a lead security agent for the pastor and his family. I also dedicated my time to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Broward County Humane Society, and The Hundred Club, which supports family members of fallen firefighters and law enforcement officers. Presently, I am an active member of Calvary Chapel church, serving as a greeter at the door entrance. Despite facing injuries, I still find joy in helping my neighbors by mowing their lawns and cleaning their pools. Most importantly, my greatest accomplishment is my son Jeffrey, who has become a pastor and a father of three wonderful children. Overall, my life has been filled with happiness, and I find immense joy, comfort, and inner peace in serving our Creator, God.
